Held at least once every two months. Half of the committee members present forms the quorum. The President or General Secretary may call a special meeting at any time in an emergency.
May be convened on the written request of at least one-third of general members, or by a decision of the Executive Committee.
An account is maintained in the name of the Foundation with a scheduled bank, operated by the joint signature of any two of the President, General Secretary and Treasurer.
The financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June. At the end of each year the accounts are audited by a certified chartered accountant, presented to and approved by the Annual General Meeting, and submitted to the registering authority in due time.
Any proposal to add, delete or amend a clause is placed before an extraordinary general meeting on the recommendation of the Executive Committee. It takes effect when adopted by a two-thirds majority of members present, and the amended constitution is submitted to the registering authority.
The Foundation may be dissolved by a vote of not less than two-thirds of the total members present at an extraordinary general meeting. After all liabilities are settled, remaining assets must be transferred to another registered non-profit organisation working for similar purposes.
