Frequently asked questions

Who can become a member? +
Any Bangladeshi citizen aged at least 18, or any institution, connected with the skill training or technical education sector and not convicted of a criminal offence, may apply. Directors and proprietors of registered or recognised private skill training institutions apply as general members.
How much are the fees? +
Admission fees and annual subscriptions are fixed by the Executive Committee from time to time and shown on the Membership page and in your dashboard before you pay. Life membership is granted against a single prescribed subscription payment.
How do I pay? +
From your dashboard you can pay by bank transfer, bKash or Nagad. Record the transaction reference, and the secretariat confirms it against the account. A money receipt is issued automatically once the payment is verified.
When do I get my certificate? +
The membership certificate is generated automatically the moment the Executive Committee approves your application. It is emailed to you, available in your dashboard, and can be checked by anyone on the certificate verification page.
How is the Foundation governed? +
A nine-member Executive Committee is elected for two years at the Annual General Meeting by direct vote or unanimous nomination. The committee meets at least once every two months, with half its members forming a quorum.
Can the Foundation distribute profit? +
No. No fund or asset may be distributed to members as personal profit or dividend. All income is spent solely on implementing the declared objectives.
Is the Foundation involved in politics? +
No. The Foundation is non-political and non-communal, and does not engage in political activity, commercial profit-making, or any activity contrary to prevailing law.
